The founder Sensei Brian Bentham 5th dan has been involved with karate for over 30 years and in this time has gained a phenomenal reputation within the world of Traditional karate and Shotokan

You now have the chance to train alongside Sensei Bentham and his instructors at one of his clubs in the Golborne, Lowton and Ashton in makerfield areas.

For the very young students we have dedicated classes the TINY TIGERS classes are for children aged 4/5 next on is the KARATE KIDZ where they are taught the fundemental techniques and the discipline required in the Dojo, they can start training at the age of 6 years through to 10 years in their own special classes. these classes are extremely popular

Older and more Advanced students train seperately Our students are also given the chance to enter competitions throughout the year should they wish to persue the competitive side of Shotokan karate many of Ryu Do's students have gone on the reresent the Academy in competitions Nationaly and Internationaly and have also represented the Association on the National Squad since 1994 right up to the present day

We also specialise in various exercise classes tailored to suit all ages and abilities
